Reticle Holdovers for Irregular Terrain

3 days · Mixed field and range · Targeting Fundamentals

Holdover-first thinking is trained on terrain boards and live berms where firing height changes the apparent horizon. You will alternate between map sketches and live fire to keep decisions tied to what you can see, not only what you dialed earlier in the day.

Price: ₩890,000 (informational)

FAQ

Can I attend with a second focal plane scope?

Yes, but you will work inside a single magnification for hold exercises. Bring the magnification you plan to compete with.

Is there a limitation on bipod height?

Very tall bipods may be restricted on two berms due to shared backstops. Contact operations before booking if you use an elevated rest taller than 30 cm.

What should I expect physically?

Expect moderate hiking between berms. This is not a navigation course, but you should be comfortable carrying your rifle case for 20 minutes at a time.

Experience notes

The oblique berm day exposed how often I was guessing. The peer review sheet forced me to say the landmark I was using.
